Autism services helps to develop appropriate, collaborative and timely supports and services across the lifespan of a student with autism. As a team we support our students as they gain participation with the general education curriculum through their specific learning style. Autism services provides support to the teaching staff in the observation, consultation, coaching, help with re-evaluations, in-services for staff and families and talks to others students. We are part of the statewide pilot project for changing ASD services. (Please see ASD document to the right). Sue Holmberg, Autism Specialist, takes the lead support visiting all schools. Jodie Wyatt, Autism Support, follows up with coaching, support and implementation of programs as needed at each school.
